The Brothers Johnson were an American funk and R&B band consisting of American musicians and brothers George ("Lightnin' Licks") and Louis E. Johnson ("Thunder Thumbs"). They achieved their greatest success from the mid-1970s to early 1980s, with three singles topping the R&B charts ("I'll Be Good to You", "Strawberry Letter 23", and "Stomp!").

Written between Summer 2022 and Summer 2024, this is the answer to 2022's "Where'd Everyone Go ?". Where "Where'd Everyone Go ?" shows a descent into depression, isolation, and insecurity "There You Are !" shows the opposite, a gradual, painful escape from the depths of suicidality, gender dysphoria, heartbreak, and loneliness. The songs here collect my last two years of finding myself personally, sexually, stylistically, and the hardship that that entails. I want to thank the people that I wrote these songs about or for, you all helped make me into who I am today and without you I couldn't be me. Thank you to my closest friends June, Will, Kayleigh, Greta, and Hayley, for dragging me out of whatever bullshit I threw myself into, and for listening to me ramble about how the album needs more low end, or the snare isn't loud enough, or whatever other nitpicks I had, I love ya'll to death. Additionally I'd like to thank B Lambert and Will Schwester for truly inspiring me and pushing me to be the best musician and artist I can be, you two are the artists I look up to the most, love both of y'all so much. (Moby卡通人物化身)身处在已被战争、人类破坏殆尽的地球上，四处可见枯死的树木、荒凉的沙漠及被大海淹
没的陆地，孤单的行走而无人理会，始终在他身边的只有一只毫不起眼的小狗，结尾部份在梯子顶端观看月亮
，更透露出强烈的落寞感，似乎对他来说孤独已成为日常生活的一部份，甚至全部。
如果说Moby是电子音乐界的鬼才或顽童，我想是没有人会反对的。不按常理、无法捉摸的音乐型式始终是世人
对其作品的见地，从单曲＜Thousand＞得到金氏世界记录「史上最快的歌曲」就可得到映证。对他的作品，要
以单一种音乐型式呈现是较为少见的，总是尝试性的融合各种不同类型的音乐型式，又能将旋律诠释的如此完
美，就拿这次的新专辑「PLAY」来说，取样自1925年史学家Alan Lomax的田野录音作、黑人灵歌与蓝调福音，
搭配着Hip-Hop的节奏和凄美的弦乐与钢琴旋律，再加上Moby透过效果器的人声献唱与轻迷浪漫的民谣吉他，总
是很怀疑他的构想来源是如此的精湛及诡异，毕竟天才仍旧是少数的。

Endtroducing..... is the debut album by American music producer DJ Shadow, released on September 16, 1996 by Mo' Wax. It is composed almost entirely of samples, mostly from vinyl records, and features moody, slow tracks and upbeat jams reminiscent of Shadow's early hip hop influences.

After the release of 1982's All This Love, the group became one of the most popular and talented acts in music. While that effort was a likeable though uneven affair, In A Special Way was, in short, a classic. This boasts a minimalist and artful sound, and rumor has it that the horn tracks were lost during the recording. So as a result In A Special Way is one of the most spare and effective albums of the '80s. The first track, the synth based "Be My Lady," and the bittersweet and pragmatic "Need Somebody," both feature lead vocals from James DeBarge. In A Special Way also marked the coming of age of the vocally gifted El DeBarge as a producer and writer. The biggest hit here, the poignant and spare "Time Will Reveal," is perfect, from its beautiful arrangement and flawless backing vocals to El DeBarge's amazing lead. His prowess also makes the potentially overdone sentiments of "Love Me In A Special Way" come off instead as romantic and effective. The last track, "A Dream," was written and sung by Bunny DeBarge. With a great melody line, the song accurately attains a sense of longing as Bunny DeBarge's lead is particularly moving. Although R&B and rap have appropriated segments of this album in every conceivable manner, the greatness begins and ends with this album.

Marshall Crenshaw is hard to describe, maybe a sort of rockabilly singer/guitarist who issued numerous albums in the 1980s. We now proudly bring back four of his out-of-print releases on CD. Field Day reached # 52 on the charts in 1983. 10 tracks. Wounded Bird. 2005.

Wild Honey is the thirteenth studio album by American rock band the Beach Boys, released December 18, 1967 on Capitol Records. It was the group's first foray into soul music and was heavily influenced by the R&B of artists such as Stevie Wonder. The album was the band's worst-selling at that point, charting at number 24 in the US. Lead single "Wild Honey" peaked at number 31, while its follow-up "Darlin'" reached number 19. In the UK, the album peaked at number seven.
